- sab0tage, on 10/27/2008, -0/+2WinMo devices usually use flash memory which can get fragmented just as on HDDs, and just as it does on your precious iPhone. It doesn't mean that fragmented files are a problem though, however it might benefit video playback a bit, if the file was sprawled everywhere.

- l800LEMMINGS, on 10/26/2008, -1/+2i was under the impression that windows mobile devices have solid state hard drives. That said i was also the impression that solid state don't need to be defragmented. Windows is the only platform mobile or not that suffers from these drawbacks, although thankfully Microsoft is looking to make ntfs obsolete, with a new file system that doesn't need to be defragmented.
