- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I'd like to see a Galactica version myself
- Legato, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7in my opinion this is not only one of the few complex yet tasteful mods i've seen, but its also the only one that adds functionality to the end computer. not just flashing lights...
- dodge2005, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3bit-tech doing the awsome mod thing again.
- SpinMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This is awesome, but my favorite is still the Orac 3

Reading through his progress just makes you want his skill huh, I would love to make a case from scratch. Let alone look as awesome as his. - gta3mobster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I think fabrication would be a better word to describe this case "mod." I wonder how many hours went into the fabrication...
Simply amazing work. He should make more designs and sell them to case manufacturers :) - kcpwnsgman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Valve actually has that in their lobby, its really cool, one of the best mods I have ever seen.
- deviouskoopa, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I also liked the custom DOOM case mod that was on Digg awhile ago, and this is the best case I've seen since...
- JohnnyRad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2¡¡ maui wowi !!
- reevolutn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2drop in hdd is a great idea
- iceperson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3"Case mods... so cool yet so useless."
Tell me what you own/enjoy and I can probably point out how useless it is. - molafish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Oh, good thing it's an "old school" warp drive... I don't like those new fangled warp cores from 300 years ago + 600...
- Hawkeye199, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Awesome, what more can you say about it. I wish I had the skill to do something like that, I just can never get the measurements right so I start shouting and end up smashing whatever it was I was building so I just dont bother anymore.
Probably for the best - 5hop4orce, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2How many GI Joes live inside that case?
- The_Pope, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Do you mean this HL2 beast? http://www.bit-tech.net/modding/2004/11/08/blackmesa_II_part1/1.html
- TonyCubed, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Those edges seem a little sharp! :P
- StreetMunster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow, thats the greatest mod I've seen since the HL2 beast on here awhile back. Mass produce this thing!!!
- kcpwnsgman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The_Pope
yeah, I was there too.... - vcleniuk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Shiney..... :)
- Stiffler, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2That case is VERY sweet but it doesn't look anything like the NX engine it's "based" off of :(
- SVPirate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Art in sheet metal and acrylic - that guy is a genius :)
- JamesDean59, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1very cool, well planned out and well executed...
i do have a question though...why is it called Hangar 101 especially being that that is the Warp Core to the NX-01? - Scrappy1850, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1right on! i just drew up my own version of "drop-in HDD" but im defiantly going with sATA. but how do i keep it snug and secure without screws... hmmm
- Scrappy1850, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yeah! thats sweet... i wish there was more info detailing that. i want to add that to my 'pute
- The_Pope, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1It's even better in person - I saw it last time I was at Valve
- MindStalker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yea, though I don't know why he went with parallel and added a usb to parallel adapter, seemed overkill when he could have used SATA. Maybe this is a few years old??
- NoSuchAgency, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"Tell me what you own/enjoy and I can probably point out how useless it is."
His penis LOL - corvairkid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You know what they say, different "strokes" for different folks.
*ducks* - Dooki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is this Bob Backlund approved?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Final pics link: http://www.bit-tech.net/modding/2007/02/26/hangar_101_by_sleepstreamer/10.html
Pretty sweet! Also browse the other pages becase it is interesting to see what level of design was involved in creating all the detail for this mod. I wish I had 1/10th the skill and time it would take to accomplish something like this. - directive0, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1^ agreed, its impressive but a little on the fugly side. Respect, though!
- igm07, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Impressive execution, esp the drop-in drives. Am I the only one that thinks this thing is ugly?
- skiCO, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3Case mods... so cool yet so useless.
- lebe0024, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4Uh... cool? I used to mod cases, but then I realized that spending 40+ hours on something that only looks cool to a teenage nerd is a waste of time.

What is Digg?
