- MadMaxx426, on 10/12/2007, -20/+49Step 1) Find out that a picture of your horrid example of ricer engineering has made it's way onto dig
Step 2) Rally your ricer friends and have them create Digg accounts
Step 3) Have all of said ricer friends digg down every comment made in an attempt to suppress backlash
Step 4) I post this, have my little laugh...and pretty much know that I am dugg down by the sideways hat wearing crowd
Priceless. - ersatzphi, on 10/12/2007, -51/+58Jesus, The gray......
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I saw it once back in 'Nam. It was chaos.
- Gman1223, on 10/12/2007, -25/+23Every time you digg me down, I will kill a sweet little puppy.
- Pie_Man, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1The car is still a POS.
Have to guess that the owner is too!? - ekso, on 10/12/2007, -20/+17http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_cascade
- unknowndomain, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1No your just a ***** idot for putting so many line spaces, in.
- Yoshi39, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I wonder if all comments are still being dugg down?
- belegdae, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2
I'm one of the only survivors!!!!!! WOOT! - Pie_Man, on 10/12/2007, -17/+12Priceless +1
MM426...It doesn't matter if they digg everything down...they are still useless human beings with no purpose in life.
Sad that ones life could revolve around a car and other useless friends...give them 10 years and they will learn the hard way. Hope they like government cheese. Once mommy stops footing their room board that is what they soon will be eating.
Also...only a dipshiat would put something like that on a car in the first place. Only a select few (cream of the crop) would be dumb enough to put it on backwards. I suppose that when they are sitting in traffic you could get out of your car and have a picnic on it. - jonr, on 10/12/2007, -21/+16Digg me down. Car retards are the worst retards.
- jimmymcduck, on 10/12/2007, -34/+29its for added downforce when hes backing up at high speed
- nicobat02, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1OMG, WTF
whats wit hall the gray, this is insane, all of those must be new here - polypropglop, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1Use the "Rope Engine" for my digg down.
- jessi74, on 10/12/2007, -13/+6However, a cheap wing put on backwards is cheaper than spending money on any of those things. Hence, ricers do so.
They're not really concerned about performance, anyway. - speedyrev, on 10/12/2007, -13/+6On most cars, having a rear wing/spoiler creates too much drag. They do more harm than good. You're a lot better off spending your money on ground effects for the front to keep air out from under the car and good tires and suspension.
- ptsd, on 10/12/2007, -12/+4i know this face...its a bomb!
- benderillo, on 10/12/2007, -8/+0My dog. He has no balls.
- 1053r, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1dig down every comment on this story. Just because. Including this one.
- bsdpro, on 10/12/2007, -14/+6I see what you did there ..
- idrvfast, on 10/12/2007, -8/+0I had to scroll for 3 days to find a comment that wasn't dugg down. Now THATS entertainment.
- rspeed, on 10/12/2007, -37/+29Spammers are digging all of the comments down!
- kd1s, on 10/12/2007, -15/+6Wow - I've never seen so many comments dug way down. I'm actually a bit of a fan of the ricer culture when it's done right. I particularly love the Subaru WRX with the whale tail. But I know it's mostly useless.
The same thing has been going on for years on end. Friend and I used to hop up cars in the 70's but our improvements were mostly under the hood. Occasionally we'd sand one down and paint it up nicely.
And I note that ricers are doing the very same thing. - elstevo, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2congratulations, you win?
- khyberkitsune, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1To those ricer wimp that dugg me down.
Bite me. Come to Memphis and get your ass torn up on the track by REAL racers, you poseurs. - Rooster99, on 10/12/2007, -15/+6What the ***** is happening to all the comments?? Its totally grey here!
- ADDHITMAN, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2XD at the picture and all the dig downs lol
- troydoogle7, on 10/12/2007, -15/+5Some diggers need to grow up....
- RobertEmmet, on 10/12/2007, -14/+4Poor sorry bastard. Desperate for a little love and respect, and all he gets is ridicule.
- pathfinder, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2Looks like the guy put his license plate on backwards too. Down down, diggity down.....
- Agret, on 10/12/2007, -34/+24Last time I played the digg down game my account was disabled and I had to contact digg to get it unbanned. Be careful....
- ptsd, on 10/12/2007, -16/+6whose deleting comments?
- Khoji, on 10/12/2007, -14/+4Wrong. The energy used to generate the lift by overcoming the wind resistance of the airfoil is also coming from the fuel. It's a zero sum equation: What you gain in "less weight" is exactly equal to what you lose in increased drag. The energy required has to come from somewhere and you still can't break the laws of physics and aerodynamics. And no, there is still no perpetual motion machine...
- vroom101, on 10/12/2007, -16/+6DUGG to help clear out all the surprisingly gray clouds, oops, comments in here!
- seabre, on 10/12/2007, -13/+3Digg forgot to tell us that...
It's opposite day! - secretrk1313, on 10/12/2007, -16/+5somone is messing with digg.....
- zurp, on 10/12/2007, -19/+8@NatieB
You fail at basic physics. Perhaps you pass at trolling and juvenile comments, though?
The laws of fluid dynamics are not like you may infer from "Back to the Future", where they are only invoked at certain speeds. If the 'spoiler' is subjected to ANY amount of moving air, it will invoke the laws pertaining to fluid dynamics upon it; lift, drag, et al. In short, even if the car was sitting at rest, and a .000001 mph breeze blew over it, lift/drag would be created.
Since the photo was shot as the car was moving down the highway, it indeed is generating lift/drag.
/me waits for the Digg laws of gravity to act to create the "Dugg-down" effect... - johncap, on 10/12/2007, -16/+5Wow look at all those comments being dugg down!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -29/+18evidentially, the owner of the car has a lot of friends at Digg.
- Jezper, on 10/12/2007, -17/+6If that thing stays on, he'll get some down force on his rear wheels for sure :)
- Charlesbian, on 10/12/2007, -23/+12Everyone collectively digg UP one singular post and lets see if we can fight back!
- vdog, on 10/12/2007, -13/+2This is the Boston Police. I'm digging you down.
- ChrisGranger, on 10/12/2007, -20/+8@ariastar
OMFG thank you, I needed that. LOL - Gman1223, on 10/12/2007, -16/+4theres the first digg-down! "tosses a puppy in the wood chipper" "YARP YARP YRAP"
- glackk, on 10/12/2007, -14/+2I always wondered if it was possible to have a reverse spoiler to create lift and make your car lighter. The reduced weight would mean greater fuel efficiency, that is if the fuel saved was greater than the extra fuel used by the added drag of the spoiler.
- garfonzo, on 10/12/2007, -15/+3What happened to this thread? Everyone got dugg down?? Is this a first for Digg?
Relating to the picture, that is probably the ugliest care I've seen in a while. Of course, the wing being backwards doesn't add to its appeal. I wonder how fast he needs to go before the wing just rips off. - khyberkitsune, on 10/12/2007, -16/+4They took the perfectly fine stock wing and replaced it with a racing wing... BACKWARDS??
Somebody most certainly did not RTFM. - dhonn, on 10/12/2007, -20/+8at least someone will be able to read what i wrote here
- garfonzo, on 10/12/2007, -14/+2haha!! comment from the site itself:
