And no, demonoid does not count. Plus with private trackers, you dont have to worry about fake peers uploading you crap and recording your IP.

Also to find your max upload and download rate, go to speedtest.net
choose the server located closest to you, when it is done. Divide the results by 8 and you will get your proper download and upload speeds. Example supposing your download rate on speedtest was 20000, divide it by 8 and you get 2500. So that is 2.5 megaBytes
Speedtest gives you the results in kilobits, and you download/upload in mega and kilo BYTES so that is why you have to divide by 8 (8bits in a byte)
and 2 other tips
1. Join a private torrent site, they will almost always max out your connection
2. if your download is going extremely slow, cap off the upload to about %80 of your max upload speed, i found this helps a lot sometimes - TonyCubed, on 02/21/2009, -1/+3Sorry, but if you don't enforce encryption, then you and every other user who doesn't use it should be banned from using Bit Torrent.
