- mobilehavoc, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7I call BS. I had to send in my Xbox360 once last year, I received their prepaid box in 2 days, I sent it to them which took 2 days and they sent it back via overnight shipping so all in all, I had a working Xbox 360 in less than 5 days.
Just because one guy has either bad luck or some issue why do all the Microsoft haters have to then generalize that? - Avalontor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3And this only happens at Microsoft right? Give me a break, all companies on the planet have horror stories like this. Grow up.
- falloutsyndrome, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is only one guy, sure you might have to send your box in but this isn't the common experience. I've sent my box back, a friend of mine sent his in, we both go the box in two days, sent it back, were quoted 6 weeks, and had it back in 2.5.
"Perhaps people should think of an XBOX as a really expensive can of Reddi-Whip, a product that comes with about the same level of customer service, and is also fun in its own way."
The above is only true, as long as you (in my case) have a female partner.
Not to mention this guy seems fairly biased. - Imperil, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I posted this story (I am Saruman) and it isn't BS at all, I simply posted the story because of how frustrated I am. I'm a developer and you won't find me bashing Microsoft anywhere because I love their products, especially my 360. I just find this VERY unreasonable.
- thecorch, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3A far cry from Nintendo's incredible customer service.
