Vista compatability: Still dead on arrival
blogs.computerworld.com — A few days ago, to counter bad press about Vista, Microsoft announced the launch of the Windows Vista Compatibility Center, a web site to prove to people that plenty of hardware and applications work just fine with the operating system. Two days later, the site doesn't work. Chalk it up to one more embarrassing Vista moment.

- jmengland, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1I'm reminded of that scene in Star Wars where, in an attempt to outrun the Empire's Star Destroyers, Han Solo confidently claims that they'll just make the jump to light speed and the pesky problem of the Star Destroyers will go away. Then he switches the lever to make the jump to Light Speed and well.....you know the rest....Fail.
