- Sabotage15, on 11/15/2008, -7/+27dugg for not being related to linux
- Aeyar, on 11/15/2008, -0/+17Some good ideas.
I'd like to see the right click menu orient itself so the most logical options (based on the context of the click) are in the middle and make for the shortest mouse-travel distance... - inactive, on 11/16/2008, -0/+12I wish I could right click a new life
- StolenLamp, on 11/16/2008, -1/+8Love them right click addons.
- DefaultGen, on 11/16/2008, -0/+6The Image Resizer power toy has been of incredible value to me. Lets you right click and resize images without having to boot up any clunky software. Works with mass selections too.

I've found it to be very useful, especially if you jump between folders a lot. - Shazbuckle, on 11/16/2008, -2/+6It's never too late to change your life =/
- Greg2k, on 11/16/2008, -1/+4Funny how people are concerned about making the Windows right-click menu more useful when on OS-X it's kind of a second thought.
- DefaultGen, on 11/16/2008, -0/+3Doesn't the menu appear to the lower right of the mouse?
- sodade, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2That is totally useful! Thanks for the link.
- tehmacuser, on 11/16/2008, -2/+4It's mainly because the Mac OS has always tried to make any needed command or task accessible through the menu bar only allowing a few over right click, so it took the short end of the stick. Right click in OS X has always been more of a non-issue because all the options you would want/need are listed in the menu bar.
- thefinger, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2Try Stylish, TinyMenu, and MenuEdit
- theaceoffire, on 11/16/2008, -1/+3I am annoyed at them not mentioning power menu.
Seriously, I like being able to keep a window on top like Linux.
(They got a vista version too now)
http://www.abstractpath.com/powermenu/ - Greg2k, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2True, but Apple missed out on the opportunity of making context-sensitive options more mainstream. Right-click is perfect for hiding secondary information until it becomes useful to the user. The menu bar itself is context sensitive but in a messy way; it changes depending on which window is focused, hiding the menu options for any other open window.
In my opinion Windows is far better suited for multitasking than OS-X since it leaves all the useful information available at all times, whilst hiding extra stuff you will only need when specifically working within one window. - thefinger, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2Get lost, you ***** mac troll.
- archer104, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2See you in another life, when we are both cats
- flashcat7777, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2He's saying that the menu should split the right click half and half, so you can reach either end with an equal amount of effort.
- peligro666, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2Can anyone tell me of an extension which does same with right click menu in Firefox? I got too much stuff there, need to cull some of it.
- thefinger, on 11/16/2008, -0/+1No, mr mac troll / pseudo windows user.
- chaos7, on 11/16/2008, -0/+1great submission! dugg!
- jikl546, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1No mention of how to change the 'My Computer' Right-click??!! That's the best place to change it:
HKCRCLSID{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309Dshell - fatfreddyscat, on 11/16/2008, -0/+1I want an "Open With" that is always there. And it doesn't ask to search the internet first. Nevermind RTFA. Although it would be nice to do this without an app just show me how to do it in regedit.
- randyrandall, on 11/16/2008, -2/+2Way to clutter up your right click.
- Raithlin, on 11/17/2008, -0/+0Buried for using Internet Explorer
- inactive, on 11/16/2008, -1/+1Roll your own menus with PowerPro
- svivian, on 11/16/2008, -1/+1I just wish Windows stopped apps adding useless context menu items and made setting default programs for open/edit so much easier. For example I have "Edit with Notepadd++" in my context menu, which kinda has to be there because the main open/edit functionality is so lame.
- Dested, on 11/16/2008, -5/+2This is pretty obscure but seeing as most of these tools are for managing files I figured I'd ask. Does anyone know where I can find a file manager for windows that is like the mac file manager? Do I have a chance?
- Aquashark, on 11/16/2008, -7/+2oh noes.. you can actually change something in Windows??
***** me silly but i thought Linux monopolized customizability
yeah right.. and i'm using Internet Explorer right now
