Not only was it one of the worst releases it was confused with Windows 2000 (one of the BEST Windows releases). Also not listed are the various flavors of Windows NT. I'm not sure Windows 286/386 were actual products but they may have been operational modes. I'm pretty sure there was a 1.0 and 2.0 release.

    Microsoft did it once with Windows Me and it didnt work. Since then, every version of windows has been better than its predecessor.

  • Noelix, on 10/19/2009, -0/+1I'm sorry but the Windows Vista commercial is really good, I disagree with the author. The Windows 95 commercial is still the best though. The new Windows 7 commercial is an odd choice, but Microsoft executives seem to make odd choices overall.
