- inactive, on 01/11/2008, -2/+98How did you know my serial number?!
- Adrianc333, on 01/11/2008, -16/+108You do realize these arn't all Genuine Errors, and not all of them are related to a Windows fault...?
- DietMountainDew, on 01/11/2008, -2/+881. Open VB.NET

Seriously though folks, give the error messages a rest for a while. - echolalia, on 01/11/2008, -0/+53His computer performed an "illigal" operation. Guessing by the spelling of illegal, it's not a genuine error.
- DooDonDanDee, on 01/11/2008, -2/+53I love how people laugh at Windows errors, when really most of them are from programs running on Windows that happen to have faults.
- AndrewDB, on 01/11/2008, -1/+49Such an awesome email forward and blog spam all rolled in to one. Thanks!
- str3ama, on 01/11/2008, -9/+50Title of Article - "Windows Errors That Are Really Funny"
From the site - "If you use a computer (yes even a Mac) you get error messages. Some of these error messages can be more frustrating than helpful, but every once and awhile they are just damn funny."
Umm..why even mention Mac when the title clearly states that these are Windows errors, pandering much? - Smwbigboss, on 01/11/2008, -4/+36I kept getting something like this whenever I opened a folder
"This program is a security risk and was automatically closed:
explorer.exe" - yokozuka, on 01/11/2008, -1/+30This story is not only a dupe, but a complete rip-off.
Gizmodo published the original story, made from errors sent by the readers, on December 10th. Here's the original Digg:

Buried for being a dupe and a rip-off. - EntropyFan, on 01/11/2008, -2/+31So, your the new guy here. Let me explain.
Computer errors that happen on a Windows box are the fault of MS. Doesn't matter if MS wrote the software.
hell, if your DVD player has an issue and it is in the same room as a Windows machine, it is the fault of MS.
Now, any other OS it is the fault of the person who wrote the program or the user. Doesn't matter if the next Apple patch fixes the problem, not their fault.
Understand? - bot001220, on 01/11/2008, -2/+28Sounds completely fake to you... but then again, you're not sure.
In other words, you have no idea what you're talking about? - Typhoon2009, on 01/11/2008, -1/+27lol@Crash Guard crashing... that program was a pile of garbage on my ooooold mac.
- capiCrimm, on 01/11/2008, -1/+24Do you have 12 locks on your suitcase?
- TalSiach, on 01/11/2008, -8/+29Are you sure you want windows to delete itself?
- nullx42, on 01/11/2008, -1/+22I used to know it by memory but it doesn't work with sp2. still a funny serial number. FCK!
- BlaenkDenum, on 01/11/2008, -7/+26Is that real though? Has anyone else gotten that message? Seems fake to me, but then again it could be that I'm not in the same situation.
- theblt, on 01/11/2008, -0/+18That one isn't even real. Look at the font differences.
- gamemaster357, on 01/11/2008, -2/+20whats with all the "funny windows messages" popping up on digg all of a sudden?

- jbrevik, on 01/11/2008, -0/+16Uninstalling MS Money results in this pop-up. "Money has been successfully removed from your computer"
- jtbandes, on 01/11/2008, -3/+19Or maybe it is a Genuine error.
- cosmicr, on 01/11/2008, -1/+17thats kind of combination only an idiot would have on his luggage!
- netdroid9, on 01/11/2008, -0/+14You know, if you read the second paragraph of said error, it'd be kinda obvious that it's fake
- joshzweig, on 01/11/2008, -2/+15Buried.
The bottom one with the serial numbers is fake. It says "illigal", and it should say "illegal". - ekravchenko, on 01/11/2008, -1/+13that's probably because you were hacked and you explorer was infected and was acting like a trojan.
- a1532b, on 01/11/2008, -0/+11Well, personally speaking, I can tell by the pixels. They're all wrong.
- bot001220, on 01/11/2008, -2/+12Error: FAIL.

- phazon88, on 01/11/2008, -0/+9Having a duplicate serial key gives your Windows a Genuine Advantage.
- slym2k, on 01/11/2008, -1/+10The best error I've ever received:
"Adobe Updater must update itself before it can check for updates. Would you like to update the Adobe Updater now? - mrASSMAN, on 01/11/2008, -0/+9Windows errors may be bad, but what about digg errors?
I got this one recently: http://upload69.net/uploaded/images/2008/01/08/Upl ... - inactive, on 01/11/2008, -0/+8lol owned by a trial version and didn't even know it
- edwartica, on 01/11/2008, -0/+8Mine's 1-2-3-4!
- CaviMike, on 01/11/2008, -1/+8No. The first sentence of the description causes me to black out and forget I read it.
- Azio, on 01/11/2008, -7/+14These are all old, bury this ***** blogspam
- JoelBakan01, on 01/11/2008, -0/+7I hope you write code better then you write English!
- will-rom, on 01/11/2008, -1/+7or at least come up with new ones?
- aclements, on 01/11/2008, -0/+6I would actually believe the one about Norton Crash Guard. When I had it installed in the '98 days, it crashed or caused crashes more often than everything else combined.
- Mothrog, on 01/11/2008, -0/+6Because the only error message Macs give is the endless rotating beach ball from hell?
- inactive, on 01/11/2008, -0/+6This is: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2384/1491909750_c85 ...
- monkeyrun, on 01/11/2008, -2/+7Mac errors are not funny.
- MasterInsan0, on 01/11/2008, -0/+5At least one of those is fake, especially the last one (note how Microsoft is misspelled in the title bar, and how the fonts are off).
- CSharpSauce, on 01/11/2008, -1/+6hmmm I wonder, if you were to change this comment from Obama to Ron Paul, would there be more then -11?
- JoelBakan01, on 01/11/2008, -1/+6I hope he pressed the "Send Error Report."
- Encablossa, on 01/11/2008, -0/+5Double accidental post . Deleting...
