Microsoft's cloud computing: It won't beat Google

blogs.computerworld.com — Microsoft just-announced plan for selling hosted online services such as email, Web meetings, and collaboration is a move in the right direction for the company. But it's not yet nearly good enough to fend off Google.

  • jmengland, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1This is probably better late than never from Microsoft's point of view, but how much will it cost them to arrive this late, how likely are they to shift current users to the hosted services?
    Google will just observe and adapt, IMHO.
