It turns out there's this thing called the "internet" now, and my friends told me this "site" was the center of it. You all look like a swell bunch of folks, so I'm looking forward to working with everyone on this information superhighway.
My friends also recommended I check out a site called 4chan, so I'm going to do that right now and report back shortly...

- CoreyTamas, on 11/05/2008, -4/+102This is sort of a strange direction for me, but... I'm actually kind of proud of Microsoft on this one. They supported their product for years and years and years.. way beyond the call of duty and long after users would have forgiven them for dropping it.
I'm normally pretty pro on Apple and their products, but not only do Macs not support OS9 anymore.. they won't even support the Classic emulator that allows them to run OS9 programs anymore (and haven't for a while). I read books and books and broke the system countless times. All the while learning the basics of how an OS runs and etc. This laid a foundation for me that continued on to everything else I got into with PC's. If it wasn't so quirky and new and odd, I probably wouldn't have poked around so much and been so curious. So to be serious for a rare time for me, RIP Win 3.11, Thanks for the inspiration.
