Microsoft attempts to thwart Vista activation cracks
support.microsoft.com — New update being pushed out today. "If exploits are detected, you will be provided a link to a Web site that describes how you can remove the exploits" Really Microsoft? Is that all you got? Ooh I'm scared.

- Ardoon, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2I accidentally downloaded it and since i have a "Non legit" version of Vista ultimate. I just did a system restore since i didn't fully know what it would do to my copy of Vista.
- spamdigger, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2I installed it on my system (also less-than-legal). So far no issues. Even went to http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/ for the hell of it and ran through the activex install... still comes back as legit. I'm using the Vista activator released by w00tageman on x32 Vista w/SP1.
- Datasinc, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Any other feedback?
- Datasinc, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2Ok I ran it on my box that uses the Vista 64bit "Dude your running a Dell" version and it took an extra min to boot and scared me a bit but started up fine.
Damn I had a harder time pirating XP.
Thanks Bill!- Ardoon, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2Hahaha yeah its still harder to get a good version of XP from less than legit sources.
