That was fantastic. - TheIndigoSky, on 06/30/2009, -2/+119I'm a firefox guy, but I'll admit these are funny. Particularly the one with the fat woman emailing lolcats.
- kamisama, on 06/30/2009, -9/+61I already browse better with Firefox.

At least some company is taking steps to get people off Netscape Navigator and IE5-7 - stevethepocket, on 06/30/2009, -1/+27I think these ads are geared mainly towards users of Internet Explorer 7 or 6. And if upgrading to IE8 is what it takes to get those people to have a mostly-standards-compliant browser, SO BE IT! I've personally stopped bothering to test my website in 7 or below AT ALL, and am making a splash page that blocks users of those browsers from entering the site (with links to IE8, Firefox, and Opera).
"You knuckleheads ain't even worth the effort!" -- TF2 Scout - marm0lade, on 06/30/2009, -4/+25That's so trendy - yelling a competitor's product on the comment page of an article about a certain product. Do you also go on comment pages about the Zune and yell "ipod ftw!!!"? What about operating systems? Game consoles? Cars? Toasters? I am intrigued to learn the depths you take this completely original routine to. Please elaborate.
- inactive, on 06/30/2009, -9/+29If this was a Firefox ad, you would be ejaculating on your keyboard.
- bluenile, on 06/30/2009, -5/+20"browser better." ?
- greevar, on 06/30/2009, -0/+15Was anyone else thinking OMGIGP might have stood for Oh My God It's Gay Porn?
- newman8r, on 06/30/2009, -1/+15http://digg.com/celebrity/Kodak_Offers_5k_Reward_N ... yet you just dugg that
- Agentdvd, on 06/30/2009, -11/+24Those where all pretty good. Too bad firefox and chrome is better.

- jonglebeats, on 06/30/2009, -5/+17ยข and $? You really want me to think you're a douche, eh?
- Wailord, on 06/30/2009, -3/+13Anyone wanna transcribe the end of the OMGIGP website at the end?
... please? - Nintendesert, on 07/01/2009, -1/+11Is better?
- copypastry, on 07/01/2009, -1/+11Fat women love lolcats.
I love generalizing. - inactive, on 06/30/2009, -4/+13Why would you install toolbars you didn't ask for?
If you are actually stating that you somehow magically end up with toolbars that you knew nothing about, well... PEBKAC. - js281, on 07/01/2009, -0/+9Worth remembering some people are at work etc. and have no choice. Just let them have the badly rendered site IMO.
- electronicdream, on 06/30/2009, -0/+8FF 3.5 just had private browsing today, no?
- WhammX, on 07/01/2009, -0/+8I think we all know someone like Mary.
- teddylj, on 06/30/2009, -3/+11I came in being all "I'LL be the judge of that!" and left pretty satisfied
- badgrammar, on 06/30/2009, -3/+11You sound like the life of the party.
- kanojo1969, on 07/01/2009, -0/+8Lol, deliberately locking out 60% of possible visitors, that's hilarious. I do web development for a cable network and 30% of the people visiting the site still use netscape navigator and receive their email in lotus notes. They have no choice. Only a moron would deliberately exclude them.
Of course, your site gets, what, 100 page impressions a month? So it's doesn't exactly matter. - Proz, on 06/30/2009, -2/+10Funny, but I'm sticking with IE8.. wait...nevermind
- WhammX, on 07/01/2009, -0/+8I can totally hear him saying that.
RIP Billy Mays. - inactive, on 06/30/2009, -2/+9I think the main point is that IE8 > IE6.

- michaelrsa, on 06/30/2009, -4/+10Those are actually pretty good. Especially the first if your mom uses email.
- lightningrod220, on 07/01/2009, -0/+6Did Microsoft register it and redirect it to the IE8 site?

- Turbojugend27, on 07/01/2009, -2/+8so you enjoy not having any free system memory?
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -1/+7So you are a douche?
- crazystar, on 06/30/2009, -12/+17Saying what..That the browser actually works? That is funny
- inactive, on 06/30/2009, -9/+14False advertising is funny?
- btschul, on 06/30/2009, -6/+11I'd use IE, but I enjoy browsing without ads and not having half of my browser window blocked by toolbars that I didn't ask for or install.
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -0/+5Please explain where in marm0lades comment that IE is better than FF? He just thinks you're a ***** for thinking we haven't heard those types of comments a gazillion times before. You stay original!
- cloudberries, on 06/30/2009, -4/+9Chrome crashed like a ***** when I first started using it. One can only hope Microsoft is actually making a better browser.
- SayeSayno, on 06/30/2009, -1/+6Before I even watched it, I guessed that OMGIGP was Oh My God I Gotta Poop. Wrong orifice. :\
- FirstOne1, on 06/30/2009, -1/+6because microsoft is the only business in the world that wants to make an enormous amounts of money

Yes, yes he is. - Mnementh2230, on 07/01/2009, -0/+5Seriously, if you're only ever willing to try a piece of software once, you'll never be happy with anything. What was the last version of IE you tried - 5? They're on 8 now, and it's pretty slick. I still like Opera for the security, but I've yet to see 8 crash.
- the8thbit, on 07/01/2009, -1/+5Pushing the edge of what now? When was the last time Microsoft came up with an idea not already in use by Xerox, the Linux community, or Apple?
Also, those commercials with Gates and Seinfeld were pretty funny, and I like their "PC" ads, as they're honest, unlike Apples' ads. It's too bad they modeled the Bing ads after the Apple ads and decided to make up their own buzzword for something that already exists, and pretend that their own word somehow made it better, when it's almost identical. -
