- mareln72, on 11/15/2008, -2/+69That's why if you have something to hide you don't put it on facebook or on myspace nothing is guaranteed Private anymore.
- inactive, on 11/16/2008, -2/+39OH NOES THE PERSONAL INFORMATION I POSTED ONLINE FOR ALL TO SEE MIGHT BE SEEN BY SOMEONE! THE HORROR!!!
- Sornos, on 11/16/2008, -3/+34The reply button isn't there for show.
- Masna, on 11/16/2008, -8/+30I agree with 100% with primalsteel! (Reply button? Huh?)
- mattwalton56, on 11/16/2008, -0/+20...If you want to keep information from people, the internet probably isn't the best place to put it.
- YuriSakazaki, on 11/16/2008, -2/+22Ignoring the fact that a Mac doesn't magically protect you from data mining (no idea how you even came up with that), this smugness and absolute need to proclaim that you have a Mac and are safe from things Windows users sometimes have to worry about is why Mac cultists have such a bad reputation.
No one ***** asked you. I don't care if you have a Mac. Saying you have one does nothing but create more disdain for Apple's products and their users who love the smell of their own farts, masturbate into black turtlenecks, and can only climax when hearing the words "One more thing..." - robz0rz, on 11/16/2008, -6/+25I agree 100% with Masna!
- cyclopssmiley, on 11/16/2008, -2/+19GUYS I CAN HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX BECAUSE I HAVE A MAC!
MWAHAHAHA - N3M3515, on 11/16/2008, -2/+19Social Networking != Privacy

- Hobbes24, on 11/16/2008, -1/+17i think it's about to get complicated between me and facebook...
- neutronphaser, on 11/16/2008, -0/+12As a Facebook Application developer, I'm still alarmed at how many people list their full date of birth and their full name. I advise anyone who values their identity to just not include their _day_ of birth.
- JUSTICE4ALLL, on 11/16/2008, -0/+12I agree 100% with rob0rz! and Masna (Reply button? Huh?) oh and 100% with Primal.
- JedicodeWarrior, on 11/16/2008, -3/+12Reason #72 why I never created a FaceBook account!
- Koadan, on 11/16/2008, -3/+12Why does Microsoft always seem to be that creepy dude on the internet.
- TBBucs, on 11/16/2008, -0/+81.) This shouldn't surprise anyone.
2.) Who cares? You should never put anything you don't want everyone to know about on the Internet anyway. - arjie, on 11/16/2008, -0/+8I agree 66% with the lot of you, so I dugg you up once, buried you once and then commented saying I agree.
- FungusAmungus, on 11/16/2008, -6/+13Howard Johnson is right!
- Torx, on 11/16/2008, -2/+9Glad i deactivated my facebook account. Would still rather have my account deleted permanently.
- YuriSakazaki, on 11/16/2008, -0/+6That's retarded, spelling wise and factually.
- coldkill3r, on 11/16/2008, -1/+7Reply fail.
- primalsteel, on 11/16/2008, -2/+7WHAT ARE YOU YELLIN FOR?
- YuriSakazaki, on 11/16/2008, -0/+5They probably deactivate them just so they can keep access to your data!
- Neo139, on 11/16/2008, -0/+5Google made the same with YouTube and none said anything.
- ScottoGato, on 11/16/2008, -1/+6in the butt.
- inactive, on 11/16/2008, -0/+5I don't know who he is, but I dug you up.
- Narrwald, on 11/16/2008, -1/+6How does that pertain to this at all?
- digmystuff, on 11/16/2008, -0/+4Policies? All I see are blurry lines.
- ezkils, on 11/16/2008, -0/+4It's Complicated.
- whahaa, on 11/16/2008, -0/+4What??
- weif, on 11/16/2008, -0/+4At least facebook is usable, unlike MySpace...(That doesn't override the privacy issues.)
- NikNaks93, on 11/16/2008, -0/+4I guess that proves that a lot of Diggers have Facebook.
- brianpocock, on 11/16/2008, -0/+4Impressive rant, I 100% agree with you, and I even clicked dig up
- neutronphaser, on 11/16/2008, -0/+3The user invites people, not the application.
- inactive, on 11/16/2008, -0/+3Right. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
Thanks again, *****. - HomeBoy123, on 11/17/2008, -0/+3You n00b
Everybody knows that FaceSpace is waaay better - Dustmuffins, on 11/17/2008, -1/+4w h y a r e y o u p u t t i n g r a n d o m s p a c e s b e t w e e n l e t t e r s ?
- cplusplus, on 11/16/2008, -2/+5I didn't "friend" Microsoft
- whahaa, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2once they have you, they have you.
- iFrikkenR, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2I love how facebook sneakily changed the application agreement. Apps used to have several boxes you could agree to, as in allow access to this and that, deny to others. now apps simply have an agree/disagree button that says you agree the app can harvest ANY info, pictures, friends, anything off your profile.
Not enough people read what they're agreeing to. - ezkils, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2What can they do with just your DOB and Full Name??
Can you elaborate? - neutronphaser, on 11/17/2008, -1/+3s o i c a n u s e f o u l l a n g u a g e
- Timmmm, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2But it isn't information that we have to hide (e.g. pin numbers). It is more information that, while not technically secret, we'd rather random people & companies (like Microsoft) didn't get their hands on (email address, DOB, location, etc.) Obviously if your profile is public then the point is moot, but most people's aren't.
This is very evil of facebook. - thefinger, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2ooooooooo..... a three-way.........Kinky!!!!!!!!
- OBKenobi, on 11/17/2008, -0/+2Serves you social morons right.
- p3ngwin, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2what he said .
(i'm lazy) - primalsteel, on 11/16/2008, -1/+3Me Too!!
- thefinger, on 11/16/2008, -2/+4Not so much negative press, but negative stigma, and deservedly so. I had a FB account. Then I got bored with everyone's posing, including my own and that of my "friends". I sent an email to FB to not just disable my account, but delete it (whatever constitutes deletion to the FB admins). I haven't had regrets.
- 4321234, on 11/16/2008, -1/+3I use MyFace.
