  • IanLynch, on 04/19/2008, -0/+2Seems that it's OK to trumpet the successes but the failures don't get the same profile. Government procurement tends to assume risk is reduced by going with large financially secure companies. Maybe the basis of risk assessment needs a review with a much greater emphasis on the risk of single sources of supply, lock-in and over-ambitious sales promises that are not backed by any real accountability.
