- znxster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah interesting idea, the colours suck, the style is a little difficult to get used to, i would still use zsh over it and simply enter mc when i need it, nevertheless nice concept, also this i not "a new linux shell", this is a very old idea (5 years now)
- TheMatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2fish is probably the best "new" shell, although I use zsh like all power users. zsh forever!
- giganerd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Psh, I never deal with directories or files.

- Polly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Files and directories are for losers >:(
- cawpin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hmm, I guess I won't use this because I NEVER deal with files or directories....

- craterburnsu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"vshnu is a great shell to use if you deal with directories and files." Uhm... That's what everyone deals with. I'll stick to bash thanks.
- CthulhuX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0er, coachace, I'm pretty sure everyone is being sarcastic about not using files and directories.
At least, I hope they are... - beautystar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow

WHOOOOOSH!
That was the sound of a point going over your head. Normally I wouldn't explain the joke, but I have little faith in your ability to understand otherwise :P
For what it's worth, I've already stopped using directories for my media files; they're all tagged and databased~ - mrkoje, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0someone tell me how good it works... and how much time they spent learning to use it. In the meantime I will just use my plain old bash shell.
- burke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Actually, I've been meaning to check out an alternative shell... right now I'm using Bash... any suggestions? Articles? Thanks.
- SquireCD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@linux_pimp: Exactly. I just put alias ls=ls --color in my ~/.bashrc file, and it gives me colors. I'll go ahead and stick with my bash ^_^

- Maverick83, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No files or directories for me. I don't even know what the hell those things are. My computer doesn't even have a hard drive. I yell at it until it boots up and plays the music I want.
Did I mention it's also powered by magic? - barbobot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0ksh still wins
- coachace, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"Psh, I never deal with directories or files."
Actually, you all use them, or you wouldn't writing here. I think you all mean you don't use CLI. You only use GUI. There's nothing wrong with letting your mouse do the walking instead of the fingers, though. - cawpin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0damn you giganerd, you beat me to it
- Philip_McClure, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"Actually, you all use them, or you wouldn't writing here. I think you all mean you don't use CLI. You only use GUI. There's nothing wrong with letting your mouse do the walking instead of the fingers, though."
