- 3242130193, on 06/14/2008, -0/+1SSH is a godsend for me when I have to compile LaTeX files on a machine that doesn't have it. Use Putty to SSH into a UNIX machine, edit the .tex file in nano, compile with pdflatex and then bring it back with scp or sftp. I sure wish that PuTTY had a tabbed interface though to make it easier.
In any case, if you're featuring PuTTY as an SSH client, why not use PSTFP for SFTP? It's available from the same website as PuTTY and it's just as simple and intuitive once you type the help command.
