VIDEO : Ubuntu 8.04 Beta Missing Screen Resolutions | Limit
hanief.blogspot.com — I have encountered this problem so many times (even in Ubuntu 7.10 and 8.04 Alpha). Maybe, this is due to my bulky SAMSUNG SyncMaster 793MG monitor model. It's 793MG aka 793 Magic Green. MG is quite rare I guess. I couldn't get any higher resolutions more than 640x480 right after...
