  • Eezyville, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3Virtual desktops are so freakin useful, I love them. Firefox with useful websites on one desktop, Matlab and Mathematica with school projects in the second, excel sheet and lab reports in the third, and Pidgin and Thunderbird in the fourth. I feel so organized and I don't have to search through all my opened windows to get to where I need. While at work I have to use XP. I have like 10-15 windows up doing anything from computational work, reports, web browsing to writing notes, messaging co-workers and reading/writing email. Its so hectic and I want my virtual desktops back but I can't install those windows programs on my work computer.
