- smwny, on 02/03/2008, -0/+12I only see one problem with this website. It is using flash which is not open source. It should be using some type of open source readable format like Ogg Theora. For people who only use open source software this is a nightmare.
Besides that I think this is a great idea. I will be using it. - BladeMelbourne, on 02/03/2008, -1/+7Video playback doesn't work for me on PPC Linux.
- Jawshie, on 02/04/2008, -0/+2Finally! A place to find all those overplayed Compiz videos!
- Jenadae, on 02/04/2008, -0/+2I cant figure out if this is supposed to be funny or if your serious when you say

"An error has occured: Sorry, your guest limit for watching videos has exceeded for today! You must register for an account!"
WTF??? - bacchus101, on 02/04/2008, -0/+1I think that they still need to fine tune a few things, like search...

Positing this from my G4 gentoo box.

- harlowsmonkeys, on 02/04/2008, -0/+1It's not using Flash. The sites that host the videos are using Flash (in some cases). This site is basically a cataloging site, with the actual video coming from Google Video, or YouTube, or a few others.
- aldenhg, on 02/04/2008, -0/+1I don't understand what advantage this has over youtube. It's understandable to make your own youtube clone when you want to share things that youtube doesn't allow (i.e your homemade porn), but youtube is already there and provides most the features of it's clones. It seems like a lot of work to try and coax an already established user base to something new and only marginally different.
- Roger, on 02/04/2008, -4/+2Don't worry, there's probably some obscure command you can run or some file you can hack.

LinTube was sort of announced last week and there's also Ogg Sea for an equivalent with Ogg Theora. - depro9, on 02/03/2008, -7/+1***** COOL!
