Ubuntu launches Free Culture Showcase

arstechnica.com — The Ubuntu community has launched its second Free Culture Showcase, a contest that gives artists the opportunity to have their creative works included in the next major version of the Ubuntu Linux distribution. All submissions must be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike license.

And imagine if your wallpaper, music, or whatever you make does end up winning. It will be on millions of desktops world wide. I strongly encourage all artsies to participate!
