- DoubleHelix23, on 06/25/2008, -0/+1Its not really the same TuxSoftware other than a few exceptions like Flock Browser uses repositories and packages already available for your distribution and provides additional info and images for each app. Its a great site for Linux Novices to begin researching software. However the OpenSuse site can be very helpful if you know specifically what you are looking for or need a specific build for any purpose. The more methods the merrier ;-)
- scottmorris, on 06/25/2008, -0/+1If you'd like a more developed tool for this, look here: http://software.opensuse.org/search It supports many distributions (including Ubuntu), not just openSUSE. However, the openSUSE folks do get the 1-Click Install benefits. The more the merrier, I guess. :)
