Wow, you just can't get your story straight, can you?

Then why do you devote incredible amounts of time trying to make it news? - thewump, on 01/07/2008, -1/+41) "XP just freakin works" Then why did I switch to Linux in disgust at the mystery disk activity, the lengthening boot times and general pulling out of hair? It's simply NOT the best desktop - that's just dumb. By the writers criteria the Mac is better. It's the best GAMES desktop, but that's all I'll give it.. Office runs just fine on Linux so don't use that as a reason to use XP.
4) Exchange server the best platform? Hell no. It's GOOD but it's a horrible product that is over priced and locks people into OTHER Microsoft products which ARE quite good like Outlook ( in theory - although it has it's headaches too ). How the hell can the writer say as a sysadmin for a multiple OS environment that exchange server rocks as a groupware platform when it hobbles users from participating who are using Linux, one of the OS's he supports? In big picture terms, Zimbra beats Exchange server by a nose.
5) "Windows has best hardware support". Oh yeah? Like Windows VISTA? Are you ***** me? - 4DFX, on 01/07/2008, -0/+2Looks like you've just been FUD'd!
- MarkKezner, on 01/08/2008, -0/+1That's not fixing the issue. It's equivalent to curing the disease by killing and resurrecting the patient.
Downtime like this is not acceptable in a business environment. Every minute your services are down is essentially money flushing down the toilet. - inactive, on 01/07/2008, -1/+2If i can get a comparable os without shelling out 100 bucks the question is why should I?
- MarkKezner, on 01/08/2008, -1/+2All except for number 5 are the author's opinions, decorated, garnished, and presented to the reader as fact.
Buried as inaccurate. - thewump, on 01/07/2008, -1/+1It's also the easiest to support. For any issue, you simply reinstall it.
- michmey, on 01/07/2008, -2/+1This was great information. I digg it
- schestowitz, on 01/07/2008, -6/+2Funny. Linux works better for me than Windows ever did (about 10 years ago). Back to browsing Digg... one person's gripe isn't really news. :-)
