That said, freedom indeed was what motivated people to start an OS which we know as GNU/Linux. Linus Torvalds didn't do it all you know.
There's nothing ridiculous about history. And there's nothing ridiculous about freedom to control your own computer either (which is why Free Software is all about).
But you're free to think what you will (and that freedom isn't all that ridiculous either). - malkir, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1It cracks me up when people write like this. Do you seriously think you're a freedom fighter or something? That the fate of all humanity rests in the balance and is dependent upon this mystic software "freedom".
I use Linux, I like open source software, but you people are ridiculous.
