Disabling Drop Shadows gives it a major speed boost.

Be aware Enlightenment is different in how it handles things (1 dock does all if you want it that way it can be changed you can always add panels too.) compared to a normal desktop its lighter than Xfce but is more graphically pleasing than most things you see along with its what you could call Linux's own appearance.
most LXDE based distributions aren't too polished.

It runs Xubuntu VERY slowly, basically unusable. I've looked around, but anyone else have any good suggestions for an alternative that won't suck up so much RAM?
