- kd420, on 11/03/2008, -0/+2Dual booting for iTunes? The only reason you'd need that is to restore an iPod or buy songs. Maybe you should go the full way and make them listen to only creative commons licensed music lol
- Spr0k3t, on 11/03/2008, -2/+3Here's a tip... remove any network connectivity from the windows side unless the connectivity is for updates. Give the kids a "Power_User" account and disable the ability to add/remove hardware. Also, on the windows side, require the use of the "game discs" if they want to play a game and use the no_cd installers on the Linux side.
Regarding the configuration notes, leave the ODF files as is. The latest versions of MS Office are able to handle the Open Document Format.
The article isn't about KDE vs Gnome. However, all three of my kids preferred gnome over kde.
