Stable Linux Kernel 2.6.15.4 Green Lighted

pclinuxonline.com — "Chris Wright and the fine folks at -stable have given the go-ahead for a 2.6.15.4 release. This point version has some important x86-64 fixes, many controller updates, removes slashes from sysfs disk names on creation, and fixes a few memory leaks including mousedev."

  • Naaaaak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If something is "green lit" it is set to be shanked in a shower in a prison, at least that is my knowledge of the term according to a season 2 episode of The Shield. Thus, the Stable Linux Kernel 2.6.15.4 is set to be killed. Green lit = bad.

    I have been running on 2.6.15-gentoo-r1 and I haven't had any problems yet.
