  • egbert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This does not "speed up your Unix machine" it just speeds up the boot process. It is not for Unix machines it is for Linux. This could be ported to *nix variants and new start-up scripts could be written.

    This web page also has some misinformation. "...boottime when from 41secs to only 17secs..." According to the graphs on the page it boot time went from 41 seconds to 24 seconds.
