- inactive, on 07/02/2009, -5/+38blow-up dolls don't count as real girlfriends mate :-(
- zyklon, on 07/02/2009, -1/+27SourceForge has always been one of the finest resources for SECURE opensource software. There's no ***** and the developer has direct control over the content he/she posts. That, and the fact that Creative Commons has been a part of their licensing authority since conception is a huge leap over any of the other competitors, like Cnet. I recommend the software posted there, like Audacity and N++ to anyone looking into alternative programmes.
- HonestAbe, on 07/02/2009, -1/+24WTF happened to their website?
- sdrawkcabton88, on 07/02/2009, -14/+35This looks like a good place. My girlfriend is wearing my Digg hoodie on her bare skin right now. Bury me, but know that boobs are but a zip away.
- sexybobo, on 07/02/2009, -1/+14Just saw the new design to day I thought i went to the wrong site.
- fuxxx, on 07/02/2009, -0/+10MY GIRLFRIEND
- SacraBos, on 07/02/2009, -0/+8Seems appropriate for a: Pics or it didn't happen.
- Octanum, on 07/02/2009, -3/+11Random much?
- wendall911, on 07/02/2009, -0/+6All software on sf.net must conform to an open source license. http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/sitelegal/wiki/Wh ...
From the documentation:
"The software involved must be licensed under an Open Source license."
adrianbourke == fail - zyklon, on 07/02/2009, -1/+6What's wrong with the most popular?
- Digglet69, on 07/02/2009, -1/+5Because I can take it like a man
=*( - ldavid, on 07/02/2009, -1/+5I download heaps of open source software from sourceforge- great place to find software you shouldn't have to pay for.
- Pseudocrat, on 07/02/2009, -1/+5As long as you stay away from the "Most Popular" downloads then SF is a great site. Though, It's normally that I stumble upon a useful program that happens to be hosted on SF rather than it being my "go to place".
Oh yeah, Open Source FTW. - seekretive, on 07/02/2009, -1/+5I am the same way, I don't actually visit the source forge site to browse around for applications, it's just that they normally have what I'm looking for when I search. Not to say it isn't a great site, and that it doesn't have a good community, I guess I'm just a stupid leecher to them :( Congrats on the 4 billion, and here's to hoping this puts FOSS in an even more positive light.
- solarwind24, on 07/02/2009, -3/+7I believe it improved - like all open source software does.
- DaNuKaSAN, on 07/02/2009, -0/+3Stallman! Stop trolling Digg and go bother Torvalds some more!
- bro2baseball, on 07/02/2009, -1/+4Great resource for all open source developers. Here's to 4 billion more!
- wendall911, on 07/02/2009, -0/+3sourceforge.net was where I first learned about open source software development. The community isn't as large as it once was, but it's still a great site.
- z3r0c0O1, on 07/02/2009, -1/+4SourceForge is really starting to be out performed by Google Code, BitBucket and GitHub.
GitHub especially is rocking right now, I love their service. - MartinusV, on 07/02/2009, -0/+3Sourceforge is a great resource for virus and adware free software. Congrats Sourceforge!
- jakbrud, on 07/02/2009, -0/+2Loving the new site redesign
- pokobunt, on 07/02/2009, -0/+2I even found a song about one. http://music.aol.com/song/inflatable-amy/4322471
- flarn2006, on 07/02/2009, -0/+2Secure until someone uses gets().
- punktdawg, on 07/02/2009, -0/+2One of my personal favorite websites. Congrats!
- overridemymind, on 07/02/2009, -2/+3I was on SF the other day, and I was disappointed that I had trouble finding the Software Map. Luckily, though, it seems like the page I was presented with when I last checked was just an interim homepage. The Software Map is one of the best features of SF for the end-users, as it lets geeks like myself browse the projects and find awesome new software.
- d3designs, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1+1 for GitHub, I love that site!
- SwampyUK, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1tl;dr

- techdever, on 07/02/2009, -1/+2It looks like a parked domain with the new design
- wendall911, on 07/02/2009, -1/+2No, ==, as in, he is fail, as opposed to me setting him to fail. ;)
- jorel009, on 07/02/2009, -3/+2why is he being dugg down?
- Digglet69, on 07/02/2009, -9/+7You know 20 of those billions.... yeah, that was me.
- hankthedwarf, on 07/02/2009, -6/+4Bury? I dugg you the ***** UP BRO!
- inactive, on 07/02/2009, -8/+3What's even more impressive is that at least seven of them were worthwhile.
- hankthedwarf, on 07/02/2009, -8/+2O! WD!!
- adrianbourke, on 07/02/2009, -7/+1I'm sorry to be the party pooper but...not all the software on sourceforge is open source.
