I'm guessing that you have some NVIDIA graphics cards and it i a known problem that their drivers have problems properly accelerating the more advanced stuff that KDE 4 uses. Be sure to try their beta drivers with version 180 or higher, they make things a lot better.
- weeble, on 12/19/2008, -0/+1KDE4 is working well with nVidia now if you are using the latest Beta drivers.. 180.16. Any nVidia driver in the 177.x range is a mess with KDE4.
