- EclipseAgent, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Is that anything new? RPM packages in general are slower then debian.. But I believe Novell was going to try to fix the load time of their repos..

Package manager is very very slow. It took me two days to figure out how i can get rid of XGL.
Hardware detection if very good. Updates have caused troubles. X/K/Ubuntu and other distros have bad habit to load every service everyone may need. Opensuse does not do that, i really like that.
Zypper is too slow. - apokryphos, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0What version of openSUSE 10.3? With Beta 1 package management was slow, but it's pretty pacey in beta2 (though it has a couple of rough edges).
