- ArchonMagnus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+25Built in distros include:
1.) Backtrack
2.) Operator
3.) PHLAK
4.) Auditor
5.) Local Area Security Linux (LAS)
6.) Knoppix-STD
7.) Helix
8.) FIRE
9.) nUbuntu
10.) INSERT - Drahknon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9If you use Windows as your primary OS, it's a good idea to have a Linux Live CD (especially Knoppix) around for emergencies.

http://www.securedvd.org/get.html - foolfromhell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Gonne upload with my Fiber connection. was looking for Debian in it though. Hope it doubles as install CD. Bram Cohen rules!
Remember, Spread your seed. Uploading at 300KB/sesc. Doing all I can. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6This is the reason for digg!
- CharlesDarwin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5All your seeds are belong to us?
- linuxrebel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Just doing a quick glance 3 of the distro's I know are Debian based. (Operator, Knoppix and nUbuntu) or somehow did people in here get confused about what this is. It's a DVD of 10 live Security distributions. Not a CD collection of desktop Distro's.
- pabster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3PHLAK and Knoppix-STD are the only two worth a grain of salt, and they're available elsewhere.
- Skeksis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3As soon as I can get some of the file I'll max my upload all night
- chrisbudden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3On the hompage of the site it says "(We are currently experiencing issues with the torrent - we are working on rectifying the issue)"
- chrisbudden, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Horray, one seed !
- mickoes, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5313 peers, 0 seeds. Please guys, share. This is free and absolutely for you. If you don't seed you don't deserve to use this DVD.
- mickoes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+214kb sec down / 40 kb sec up
Seeders, where are you? - Gaiden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I want more Kororaa , their xgl demo was really cool , pity none of these live cd's boot up on a pc with dual display cards ( 2 x physical cards supports 4 monitors)
- LunchMoney, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Needs seeds.
- sirber, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Let's ask the real questions first, any seed?
- F1R3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Good thing about this is that people can experience all of these distros for testing, and gaining experience.
You never know what you might have on hand when you need it, and its always nice to be able to jump in and not have to figure it out on the spot. - sirber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1nice. I don't know much of them but it can be handy!
- lessigfan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It is being dug down because it ads nothing to the discussion. Comments are not space for people to say "cool" or "I'm getting now" - they are for people to add information, insight or other types of useful comments. When some people visit the comments they are looking for specific things - mirrors, torrents, discussion - not "SEEEEED" comments that are far too common on the internet (esp message boards, which is what the digg comment system most resembles in content).
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"The 10 best security Linux distributions from a previous digg post are now on one multiboot Live DVD. The new thing is that the torrent is now available for download. Linux diggers rejoice!"
lol @ now available for download
I mean technically hes right.... my utorrent DOES say 'Downloading' just at 0k per second... - almighty, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I disagree with that statement...While PHLAK and STD are very good distros, Auditor and BackTrack are also AWESOME distros in thier own right.
- mooseman089, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Are we sure that there is even a person that has it to seed?!
- jjk5, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I'll seed for as long as needed once I get it. uTorrent is showing no seeds at all right now though.
- pmshah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was just wondering. 10 distros in 4.5 gb averages out to 450 mb per distro. Is this after optimisation?
A little bit more of version information of each would be helpful. Even the fact that I have unlimited downloads available to me between midnight & 8.00 am at 256 kbps it will take me almost 7 days to download. After that kind of effort one can really feel miserable if the included stuff is not the latest stable version. - TransmitThis, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20seeds 75peers
at present
Anyway will leave it on and see what happens
No idea what I'll use this for as never used Linux before, but I'm sure some of you will enlighten me ;) - sirber, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I'll get it when (if) you seed ;)
- kleedrac, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Is there an article we can link instead of the raw torrent?
- CompWiz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1400 peers and NO SEEDS!!!!
ill seed it when (if) i get it - Drahknon, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3Look, I just have to ask... why is this comment getting down-voted?
- egrabosky, on 10/12/2007, -5/+384 peers and no seeds????? seed the greed ppl...
- tylerman, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5no gentoo?
- Drahknon, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5That's pretty cool... I'll download and seed when I get the chance.
- kimmoke, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3who cares.
who needs ten strange distros on one disc? seriously? i do not see the point. - rzermatt, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1there are no seeds for the torrent... so what's the point?
- CharlesDarwin, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4I wonder how many noobs are going to download this and never, ever be able to do anything with it?
