- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18...SCOX, the penny stock, right?
- awasson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18Yes Blake, you should "depose Pamela Jones in order to bring this dubious conspiracy theory into the courtroom" because that will prove once and for all that your Unix business has been hampered by Linu... er wait a sec we dropped that line... Ah yes, it will prove that the GPL is anti-American ummm.... Oh, I forgot, that's not it either. SCO stands behind the GPL this week...
Oh, now I remember it hrumph.... Pamela Jones was behind the conspiracy to move SRV source code leak into x86.... Dang, I forgot again we knew or should have known because we were supporting that effort. It's about methods and concepts now. Methods and concepts.... Dang, why can't I remember that. Aand we don't have millions of lines of source code like we said we did and we don't need to and if we can get some more delays maybe the stock will go up again and... Mental note: Get house in Caymans ready soon.
How about this: Every time SCO makes a claim, responds to a claim or opens it's mouth, Pamela Jones makes SCO look like a bunch of crooks. Yup, that about sums it up. - atdigg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11No, SCO the litigious bastards
http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&q=litigious+bastards&btnG=Google+Search - FishyJoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Who keeps paying these bastards legal fees?
- Arkonnan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I'm not sure what SCO could want from Pamela. She simply reports on the trial. She has no input or influence on what actually goes on in the court room. Even if she was a paid IBM shill, it has no bearing on the case. She is not leaking confidential court documents or info in order to circumvent the rule of a judge. IBM wouldn't be that stupid. All of the info on Groklaw has been made public by the courts. The only "harm" Groklaw does to SCO is in the court of public opinion, and you can't blame someone for reporting the facts.
This sounds a lot like a fishing expedition to discredit Pam and scare off any other would-be critics. What's next, will they go after Slashdot or CNN for reporting negatively on the case? - DeflatorMouse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8The last gasp of SCO's dying "business model".
- lbmouse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7SCO is trying to prove that PJ doesn't exist and the Groklaw is really penned by IBM attorneys. It's a stupid/desperate PR move that SCO feels will help them with public opinion.
- aliengoods, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7If Groklaws core reason for being is to destroy SCO, they are a pointless organization. SCO is doing a fine job of destroying themselves.
- bobothn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Wtf they are still f***ing at it? 4 f***ing years Later. I am sorry but seriously every time i dont hear about it for a month or so i they finaly gave up. but i guess not. How much longer before sco runs out of money? Seriously tho please run out of money sco.

Who keeps paying these bastards legal fees?

I thought Microsoft was - timmertc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Good post - that does sum it up nicely. SCO are a bunch of crooks who don't care about developing a good product, they only care about money, and it came back to bite them.
- Corneliusm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5But PJ really does exist. In May 2005, Maureen O'Gara exposed her for being *gasp!* an actual human being with a REAL family and a REAL home address, and then got terminated shortly thereafter. I can't find the article, but I do remember the staff of LinuxWorld threatening to quit.
SCO is just grasping at straws just to stay in the headlines. I can't for the life of me figure out what they hope to accomplish. - fyre2012, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4this thing's been getting posted all week, and not just here.
- usergentoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4They will be after Digg users next for the bad comments.
- FearlessFreep, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5And yesterday's was dugg down for being inaccurate...
- Arkonnan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@lbmouse
I understand what they are trying to do. What I don't understand is what bearing it has on the lawsuit. The Groklaw site has no influence in the court case. It has no involvement in the lawsuit whatsoever. SCO has nothing to gain from this as far as their lawsuit goes. They are just trying to discredit a critic and save face in the public eye.
It's just a pointless witch hunt. - CurtHowland, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"And yesterday's was dugg down for being inaccurate..."
Who, I ask WHO, would do such a thing???? - MrViklund, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"SCO CEO Darl McBride claims that Groklaw's core reason for being is to try to destroy SCO"
I get the Matrix feeling for some reason. Soon this will come to an end and SCO will be gone. - idonthack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@atdigg
Google fixed all the google bombs, remember? - friedcalamari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1News about SCO! Thank you so much! I miss them.
- vainrveenr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Rumor is, is that SCO-hired stalker Maureen O'Gara is in the LinuxWorld NYC area hunting down PJ.
MO'G was actually banned from LinuxWorld 2yrs ago, Slashdotted at http://linux.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/05/10/1653207 - gfolkert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ummm, Blake Stowell bailed the sinking ship to goto Omniture.
It has begun, the Rats are bailing the sinking ship... FINALLY! - RinoMardo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hey SCO if you can't beat 'em, join 'em! :-P
- podgey22, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1As I said yesterday:
