- ileftfark, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1Yep, I've been using Explore2fs for a while now. The only thing I don't like is lack of drag n drop - everything has to be right-clicked and imported or exported. Also, it has problems copying a large number of files from Linux to Windows. Luckily, I don't need it for much; I just like to know I have that capability just in case.
- Kingoftherings, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1Yep, just use ntfs-3g. I know Ubuntu has it out of the box, but some other distros don't.
Then to mount with ntfs-3g, use it in place of the mount command (ntfs-3g /dev/hda1 /mnt) - Locke2007, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1now possible^^^^
- brad3378, on 06/07/2008, -1/+2I've been out of the Linux scene for a few years.
Is it now possible to safely read (and write) NTFS partitions from Linux? - infoking12, on 06/07/2008, -1/+2Hummmm .... this is nice to know about. Thanks!
