- mckooiker, on 11/29/2008, -0/+1It will be more probable to get compiz running than windows 7. Even if Windows 7 would be less resource consuming, it will never beat compiz. I got compiz running on a computer that I bought in 1999.....nearly 10 years ago!!
Compiz has (for about one year now I guess) all these features and more!! As usual, windows lags behind Mac/Linux for several years! - inactive, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1what are you a time traveler from the past? How old is your laptop man??
- kd420, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1I meant the new window effects, like snapping to edges etc. I'm not sure if these are available in compiz already or not, but it'd be cool to see them be implemented even before 7 is released.
