You can call it web 2 or web schmoo, it's obvious that the browser will eventually get the heck out of the way of the desktop. In fact I'd like tabbed desktops able to run widgets of my choosing. No big deal, completely obvious that Pyro and its ilk are inevitable. Good work, guys.

How safe is it?
In an email interview, Gravely told DesktopLinux that "security issues are exactly the same as with Firefox... "
Hopefully they don't bring Mono to the realms of Mozilla. That could lead to more trouble than the trademarks on artwork and names.
