With Chrome in the mix now and firefox devs aplenty, I'm not sure how many people will be enticed to develop for a browser with such limited penetration. That being said Opera is a great browser and the idea has some interesting possibilities.
- spinchange, on 06/27/2009, -0/+3True. It's really nice software. I haven't used Opera and ages either, but when I heard about this DL'ed just for the server side. It's a no-brainer way for someone say, on a dedicated broadband connection with decent box and little technical web services knowledge, to set up and run a web server complete with dynamic apps like a chat room, media library, etc all kind of pre-set up in a click and run way - right in a browser window.
I think the chat-room application is pretty impressive from a geek/.technical standpoint. It's a click-and-run server-app completely in JavaScript, which is...just neat if not that terribly useful.
