OpenSolaris 2008.11 Starts Coming Together

Sun Microsystems is now preparing for the release of OpenSolaris 2008.11 to incorporate their latest set of changes. In this article we are looking at some of the latest advancements in this pre-release.

  • amoore2600, on 10/17/2008, -0/+1I really want to like OpenSolaris but there is no reason for me to switch distros. Even worse OpenSolaris is missing many of the drivers that other distos have for hardware.

    I would also like to see Sun develop a suite like iLife.

    OpenOffice + "iLife like suite" might give a reason to switch!
