  • djay, on 07/13/2008, -0/+1Is it really that important? Don't we fight all over the licenses that allow building businesses? I agree that giving back is an important part of all the OSS concept, but even Linus never told he doesn't want businesses to be created.

    While I may not like it, I think its legitimate to create closed businesses around free software (Google isn't that bad, isn't it?).

    On the other hand, just thinking about the possibility that Gnome may become based on .Net (Mono) rubs me the wrong way.
