Looks like there are a few daggers aimed at Redhat at the moment. - GnuTzu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1O.K. That's three posts today that make me think that Microsoft is making some radical changes in its business model. (One of those posts was the open sourcing of the Windows CE kernel.)
It sounds like a compromise, but they may really be attempting to challenge VMware and such. Remember, they want to be the software that everybody has to buy. I suspect that they are about to hit hard and heavy on virtualization.
Start watching for FUD that claims that Xen and VMware are hard and expensive to manage.
