Just in time for Christmas, what every budding geek needs - NetBSD! Burn an iso today... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I strongly recommend trying NetBSD if you need a server OS. Linux has too many problems....

- directedition, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Didn't 2.0 come out just months ago? Has there really been that much development?
- johnnyhay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Downloading and testing...
- directedition, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That point being? Being a jerk isn't a crime, that's why we faught for Lamo. But being a jerk isn't being hero. This is a private server.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Cool!
- dev1t, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1By "doing this very same thing" I meant exploiting a companies weakness to show them it needed to be fixed.
- irabinovitch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1NetBSD will be exhibiting at SCALE 4x in Feb 2006. Check it out if you're in the LA area. http://www.socallinuxexpo.org
- dev1t, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ok I know all of you are about to say "stop the spam" and "koolaidguy sucks" repeatedly, but he's got a point. This is what hackers and script kiddies do and it will go on longer than you or I will be around. They are tinkerers. You all got behind Adrian Lamo for doing this very thing. This koolaidguy has a point.
FYI, I'm a 30yr old IT Director and Software Architect not a 13yr old punk that like whining. Just showing my perspective. - hybrid8, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2everytime you say xmas God kills an elf!
- nene7070, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0SHUT UP KOOLAIDGUY WE GET THE POINT!
- Company_Man, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wonder if he was the source of the recent DOS attacked Digg went through...
- Cyberdactyl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Koolaidkid just another punkass that's has the age old 'greater than thou' mentality because he found a minor exploit.
- Rudrasksha, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Does the comments section of every digg story have to be about that bloody Koolaidkid.
Seriously, instead of complaining about him we should make sure That everyone know s about the "X" button ( which blocks that user) and than some how take guy down.
Can We "Digg Effect" him or something? : ) - mancat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Didn't 2.0 come out just months ago? Has there really been that much development?"
The major reason is because NetBSD changed the way their releases are numbered.
http://www.netbsd.org/Changes/#nr-scheme-changes - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I'm sorry, don't try this. Netcraft confirmed a while back that BSD was dying.
