- XVampireX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4For something that's made of java, that's a pretty damn nice job right there :) Especially with the responsiveness...

MONEYDANCE it by far the best personal mgmt app out there today. Its like the GOOD OLD quicken versions before Quicken was turned into a bad hack on top of IE.
And it runs on Linux, Solaris, AIX, Windows, MacOS, etc... great developer who is active on the mailing lists and participates in ideas for enhancement, bug reports etc. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Software doesn't have to be free(beer) or free(in speech) for me to appreciate it, use it.

But Roy, competition is good, right? The more competition, the better for all of us. I'm especially encouraged to see that it is cross-platform. Even if it's "not exactly new", it's improving, and it's good to keep new products in front of the public (even when they're not so new?). We're always happy to hear about Linux news, aren't we?- Even though Linux isn't exactly new either.
Software makers that don't have the multi-billion dollar advertising budgets of big Monopolies are smart to use websites like Digg to let people know what's going on. That's how they find new customers.
It's a nice addition to what *should" be a whole world of software choices. I hope they do well, and that we see many more choices soon. :o) - schestowitz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yes, I didn't mean for this to sound like a complaint at all. :-)
- nixfu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Some software is worth a little money.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Also checkout KMyMoney on the KDE in Linux
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Also for Linux

- schestowitz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This isn't exactly new. It has been there for months/years.
- babraheel, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0It is a cross platform application and it is neither open source nor free. Even the trial version is limited to 1000 transactions.
