- oomfoofoo, on 12/04/2008, -6/+3The only good thing about ubuntu switch spam such as this is that it doesn't happen as often as it used to. Buried.
- Bicep, on 12/04/2008, -2/+4I used to think the competition from GNU/Linux would help make Microsoft windows better. But then Mr. Ballmer arrogantly said GNU/Linux doesn't exist and is "nothing"... what happened next? Vista. (*** ooh... ouch!!).
The only thing that is sadder than Microsoft's philosophy of restricting humanity from technology for profit, is the people that are so completely blinded by Microsoft's marketing(and/or money) that they vehemently stick up for everything Microsoft does. - anylo, on 12/04/2008, -1/+2Dammit, I want Linux Hater back. Reading yet another "Amagad, it WORKS! I'm so happy I made the switch!" blog entry isn't funny anymore. I want to read more like "Your crappy code can't handle audio when I'm watching stuff from YouTube and playing movies with Totem at the same time." stuff.
- r3negadeX, on 12/04/2008, -1/+2HOLY ***** *****, SOMEONE INSTALLED UBUNTU AND IT WORKED!!! FRONT PAGE MATERIAL!!!!!!!
- craigmjackson, on 12/05/2008, -1/+1Exactly. I agree. Not a news flash, that is for us geeks. For the not so geeky, it still needs to be heard.
- mckooiker, on 12/05/2008, -1/+2The more of these stories, the more people will realize that there are alternatives to Windows. Ok, I agree this is not ground-breaking news, but it is helping getting rid of the image that GNU/Linux is difficult to install. So I invite everyone to write down their experiences like these in a blog.
And if you do not want to read and are not interested, just don't read and don't vote.
