It needs to be done with better interface design, quality assurance, and an appreciation by the developers for the lowest common denominator user...which doesn't exist. Scornful arrogance (RTFM! FGI!, GIYD!) of the Linux pseudo-intelligentsia blocks newcomers from the field and keeps useful enhancements from being embraced.
