- sirhomer, on 03/14/2008, -0/+5This could be a useful tool to teach programming. The API for this robot is quite simple and the tactile feedback from a physical device is often very rewarding feeling when your program works. Having a high level Python based API makes this usable with very small children too. I can see this being used in a computer class at an elementary school for instance.
- ennTOXX, on 03/14/2008, -1/+5I love TECH, but this is kinda creepy. Even if it is about the tux... :||
- dsn0wman, on 03/14/2008, -0/+3Something about tiny penguin-robot overlords comes to mind
- bllambert, on 03/14/2008, -0/+3Who knows, after you get a few free beers in him, he might be a lot of fun.
- antdude, on 03/14/2008, -0/+1Can it cook food, do dishes, etc.?
Hmm, imagine a cluster of them -- Rise of Tuxes (Skynet!).

- Aeuta, on 03/14/2008, -1/+1Waiting for the 2.0 version of the hardware... If I could get one for free I would love it but since I can't I will hold off on spending on the Penguin. Great toy thoughy :)
P.S. Honestly I can't believe that the thing is real... - KipEvil, on 03/14/2008, -6/+1This could be a useful tool to teach programming.
