    WTF? Why would anyone want to do a fresh install instead of an upgrade? I know a lot of people perhaps have picked up this habit from using Windows, but there is no need to with Linux. I've had my same install for 5 years and that includes switching from x86 to amd64, all with out the need to reinstall.
