- solarwind24, on 08/03/2008, -0/+2Now before any fanboy says otherwise, let me state that Linux CAN become unstable. I'm not saying it's the kernel's fault, but some root level apps such as modules (such as wireless drivers (madwifi) for example), can cause the system to become unstable. This happened to me before. Luckily, I was able to save my data and cleanly reboot with the Alt+SysRq+R, E, I, S, U, B procedure.
