- kd420, on 11/10/2008, -0/+4I agree that installing programs is way easier in Linux, but the point about searching for software being easier is a stretch. What's the first result when searching for "PDF" in google? Personally I think that he should have focused on other aspects such as automatic updates for a lot of the programs! That's such a big advantage over "Please go to our website and install the newer version." And you can also install multiple programs to try out, no need for trial versions etc.because they are all free (at least in terms of cost).

Free - http://www.ubuntu.com/
Supported by 29 million users - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_User_Group
Lower/Scalable System requirments
Efficient use of system resources
Not Vista - psquiddy, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2Easy is to have the software already installed for you. That and momentum give you a monopoly. Or a completely free computing experience. I like when Ubuntu offers to install a package I don't yet have installed. I hate it when crapware stops working after 60 days and forces me to buy a license to access the files I made in the meantime.
