Linux's iMac rival to cost just $450: meet the ASUS Eee Top

electronista.com — ASUS' first attempt at an all-in-one desktop is now christened the Eee Top and will trump Apple's iMac in part thanks to Linux: a starter Eee Top with a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM and 802.11n Wi-Fi will cost just $450 when it hits in November.

  • Spr0k3t, on 10/14/2008, -0/+1I wonder if ASUS is going to get off the pot and use a distro that hasn't made a patent deal with MS. If it's Xandros again, I still won't buy even if I can change it.
