linuxdevices.com — Skype has selected a Linux-based mobile device software stack to be the preferred platform for Skype-certified VoIP (voice-over-IP) phones. Additionally, the Linux-based "Qtopia" stack has already been used in about 40 other VoIP devices, apparently making Linux/Qtopia the dominant platform for VoIP-over-WiFi devices.
